As with all of our classes, not all students will work at the same pace. Some students may not finish their project in the allotted time, while others may finish with time to spare. In the event that your teen or tween does not finish their project, we welcome them to come to our lounge during a time that a class is not being held to get assistance from one of our staff. We do ask that you accompany your children during non-class times. If your teen or tween finishes their project and would like to begin making a second, there is a chance the materials list will provide scrap fabric that may be enough to get started. However, they may need to purchase additional materials so please plan accordingly.
Knit Maxi Skirt

1 ½ – 2 yards of 60” wide Stretch Jersey Fabric

Sewing 101 with Pillowcase
$25, Plus Materials
1/3 yard fabric (band) – cut to 11” x 41”
1/8 yard fabric (flange) – cut to 2 ½” x 41”
¾ yard fabric (main body) – cut to 26” x 41”
In this 2-hour class we will go over basic sewing terminology, stitches and skills that every sewer needs to know including: Threading the machine, filling the bobbin, straight, zig-zag, over-lock, decorative stitches, corners and curves all while making a pillowcase that you will want to make again and again! {Cutting will be done by your instructor to ensure accuracy, please pick out or drop off fabric at least one day before your scheduled class}
